Our Story
HiveTechs was founded to solve a problem I kept running into: switching between Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and Codex meant losing context and constant copy-pasting between terminals. Each AI tool had unique strengths, but I wanted one workspace where all major AI vendors could work together in integrated terminals—and a way to validate which AI was right through consensus.
The solution: Build it from scratch. Consensus pipeline with persistent memory, specification-driven development. Real IDE engineering with Monaco editor, Git integration, and PTY terminals—not a wrapper around existing APIs.
The result: An IDE where HiveTechs CLI, Claude Code from Anthropic, Gemini from Google, Codex from OpenAI, and 7 other AI tools run in integrated terminals with access to Consensus memory. You're never limited by one vendor's direction in the evolving AI landscape.
